Flamed Out!
November 22nd, 2009 | by luton |In my last post I said beating the Flames was a must win. I said the Kings need to hold off the first burst of the Flames. Iginla scored 13 seconds in. I said the Kings needed to be leading during the second – they’ weren’t. I said they needed to be tight in the third with solid goal tending. Didn’t happen. To bad saying what you need to do isn’t the same as doing it.
Psychologically this is bad news. The Kings are now likely feeling that they can’t be successful without their veterans in the line up. This is never a good feeling.
